Me playing the keyboard

Wanted to test the camera, so I decided to shoot some video of me playing on my Korg X-50. It's a Minuet in G by Bach. Not as smooth as I usually play it, so just be aware of some rough transitions.

There will probably be more keyboard vids to come.

I bought that same keyboard a few months ago. I haven't used it much so far, though. I spend most of my time on my guitars.

It's a good little keyboard...I call it the poorman's Triton. My one complaint is lack of keys. I need two so I can get a fleet going.

Not a bad harpsicord sound. Not bad playing either!!

I took piano is elementry school, then went with woodwinds...Until my freshman year of college. I picked up a keyboard class thinking easy way to help the GPA. Wrong - I had completely forgetten the bass clef!! I ended up memorizing the bass and reading the treble lines of each piece!!

It's actually a straight up piano sound. It's got a good harpsichord, but I figured that might be a little much for some people Razz

Yeah, your experience is pretty much why I don't take music courses in college.

It's good but I noticed it's not from a Dragonforce song and I got to say that that's really throwing me off.

Maybe you could try to be more like them next time?

TADA! Yes it seemed good to me as well...indeed! ...And discipline is hard...I play piano and it is not all fun that is for sure!

Minuet in G is so much fun to play. I almost have it down on classical guitar.

I have never learned any Bach on any instrument.

I can play a few things on the keys, but not enough to call myself a player. I think I'll just stick to bass and guitars.

I've got a few more under my belt...but I'm still not quite as good as I could be.

Story of the musician's life, I'm sure.

I really need a lot of practice at guitar. I have trouble with some basic stuff so I can't imagine trying to learn the Minuet on guitar.
