For all you guitarists.....what are your favorite pedals?

What are they, what do they do, and what did you get them for price wise if you can remember? I am looking for some cool pedals to add to my pedal board! HELP!!!!!

Right now I have a DL4 and a Ernie Ball Volume pedal. I got both pedals as a present, but they go for 250 and 130 new. The DL4 is Line 6's mega delay pedal!

Uh. I have a Line 6 Uber Metal, it's a tank for the price of a golf cart, and when the Duncan Dimebucker is put through it, it's very pleasant sounding.

I need some kind of cool phaser/flanger-ish thing for my clean tones. There's a green Boss one that's pretty good, but not totally what I'm looking for.

I just use my POD. No pedals. I'm a boring guitarist.

Of course, I am primary a bassist. But, I have a small Korg multi-effects unit I use sometimes. For the most part, though, I just play without it.

I play that too, but I am also on a worship team, and that just does not work if yah feel me.....lol

I got's several.
1-Compressor Boss CS-3 with the Monti Allums mods I have one of each the standard and the Opto.
2-Boss BD-2 Monti Allums T-Von H2O kit SUPER transparent overdrive
3- Boss MT-2 Monti Allums Sustainiac mod. Stock a really ratty sounding and harsh pedal but with the Mod is the Santana lead tone in a box!!
4 Rocktron Deep Blue Chorus- Liquid and smooth without the metalic ring that most Choruses have.
Now for the big dog!!
I rairly use anything other than the Compressors for clean sustain in the way of overdrives. What with a Marshal TSL and the FLAMETHROWING uber high gain Fender Prosonic the use of a stomp box for crunc is mostly redundant.
I do however rely heavily on my three George Dennis Wah Pedals. These are super reliable and sound incredable. I currently have my vintage Thomas Organ origional 60's holy grail of the wahs Clide McCoy on ebay and just sold a 70's Foxx Volume Wah because the Dennis Wah Killed um both.

I have a Digitech Death Metal Pedal and a Zoom 505II but I dont use em. I have a Vox Wah and that gets some use. I mainly plug into my Marshall and have at it.

I have to say that Digitech Death Metal is one of the worst metal pedals I've heard........ :p but then most Digitech stuff I've messed around with is some of the worst I've heard....is this just me? tongue

OCI the Digitech isnt that bad a pedal. I dont see what all the bad buzz is about. It is a formidable pedal if used correctly...like running it through the clean channel. Now if it is used as an extra kick in the groin overdrive pedal it sucks tail because of the major feedback problem......but.....I bought it and then realized that I really just like the sound of my Marshall with the mids scooped and all the other tweaks tweaked....It took a good year before I finally found the right settings...not to mention the right gitfiddle as well. My Carvin Ultra V sounds mega metal through my Marshall....and I can rest happy now.

And Heath, the Crybaby wah is a good wah. My brother played one for eons...a very reliable piece of equipment.

Oh and I also have a Korg digital tuner pedal....does that count because it is one of my favorite pedals....keeps me in tune!

I have many pedals but the ones I like to use the most are:

Boss DD-5 Delay - I am a product of the 80's lots of delay Very Happy

Ibanez Tube Screamer - great for smoothing out leads and over driven cleans

Jim Dunlop Cry Baby Wah

Boss TU-2 tuner pedal - the best stage tuner pedal made.

I would like a different chorus but this one was cheap and it will work for now.

Digitech Legend 21, Boss Metal Zone, Digitech Digital Delay (w/6sec loop) and a Cry Baby.

But I mostly play accustic now days so not much need for them now..
