I spose this would be the place to post stuff bout my band. XD This is quite convenient though because we [my band mates and I] all live in southern alabama. Not a great place for metal. quite terrible actually. =\ SO there are very few people around to give us educated opinions on our music. You guys being metal heads and all, I was hoping to get a few educated opinions and maybe some citicism. Lolz Go easy on the vocals though, we have been working on them over time and know they aren't the greatest on the recordings, but when we have the means to do it, we're going back and re doing them. They were actually all one-takes on the vocals due to lack of time. lolz. and on one song we actually used a Rock Band Mic. lolz

Well... you're right about the vocals, but beyond that I think it sounds pretty good. I like prenatal post mortem quite a bit. The drum break at the beginning is great.

Musically, not bad. Even if you had used a better mic, the extreme vocal thingy is just SO overused these days. Maybe try singing next time around and I'd be alot more interested.

Thanks guys, for the honesty. We're working on trying to get some clean vocals but its a little hard when you live where we are to find a good vocalist who can do scream/growls and clean vocals that would match out style ya know? Alabama = fail lolz. We actually have a friend who's going to help us out with some recordings and we're redoing the vocals and he's going to completely mix them for free. =]

That's cool, man. However, you might consider having your vocalist do something like these:

While not exactly singing, something like that might be easier to pull off than a full growl.

Well...He CAN growl. problem is him and our bass player and drummer are HUGE Death fans. I like death don't get me wrong. I just don't like the vocal style as much. I like lower growls like Kalmah. Either of us could pull off low growls. Its more of him trying to pull off the style he prefers. =\ but I like those vocal styles, especially Deliverance. =]

Yeah I"m definitely in agreement about the vocals...the songs call for either clean vocals with a lot of resonance or deeper growls. I really like the sound quality of the guitars in those tracks. There is a lot of potential for some really melodic singing there
