dream theater is currently my favorite band,and have been for almost the
whole time i've been drumming,which is now about five years.they are
great musicians,and if im not mistaken 3 members are christian and two
are Jewish i think..but im wrong please correct me.im a very sincere
christian,and im deeply in walk with god,and i want nothing more than
to serve jesus christ.the main reason that i posted this is to see what
people knew about Dream Theater,and to find other fans of not only
Dream Theater,but other Christians that want to play christian music
along the same lines as Dream Theater.im in the process of writing my
own music right now,and im looking for other musicians that have the
same goal as me,just curious if their anyone out there who could help
me.i cant seem to find anyone like me in Jacksonville,Florida.so please
if you could be of any help to me,or if i can help you,let me know.god

Unless you are one of those guys lucky enough to just fall into some project/band, you are going to have to work for it, bro. Here are a few suggestions:

1. Put up flyers at as many local music stores as possible.
2. Start posting in the "Musicians" section on craigslist (and search all of Florida)
3. Join a site like Bandmix and start looking for people (leave your email addy in your profile in case you decide not to become a paying member)

Finding dedicated, capable AND Christian musicians is HARD work, amigo. Good luck!
