Bassist looking for Christians to jam with!

Hi everyone, I'm a new member to CMR. I've been a metal fan for years and a Christian even longer and I'm sad I didn't find this community until today.

My name is Ben. I've been playing bass for about three years now and I've had a strong passion to be in a band. Christ has been speaking to me lately and he's been telling me that if I want to be in a band, it should be a Christian band. So that's what I'm going to do.

I've thought of a name, but I'm not going to reveal it or the logo until I'm sure I have people that are interested [I can't have anyone stealing my idea, now can I? pirat

You can't trust anyone these days] I'm going to try to aim for an Iced Earth/Iron Maiden/Black Sabbath type of sound [yes, all 3 combined Razz

I'm in the process of writing lyrics and bass riffs, here are some song title ideas I thought of last night.

Bro I live in Oregon which is sorta close to you. I have just started a christian themed band myself..we're called Blood covanant and play oldschool thrash in the vein of the bay area sound.... Slayer, Exodus, and others.

I dont know if you are interested in that sort of music, but we may need a bassist. Just let me know if your interested.
