| Here ya go Mr. Teh OCI. Yes is now in my top ten favorite bands. I've been looking for more great 70's rock and metal and I ran across YES thanks to Ult's No Life Til Metal Page. I'd of Yes long ago, but never checked them out. I made a list of albums based on Ult's page and came up with these: *Note I couldn't find all of them so these are what I ended up with* The Yes Album Fragile Close to the Edge Tales From Topographic Oceans I just finished listening to Tales... and it pretty much sealed my fate as an extreme YES fan!! The Ancient/Giants Under The Sun is probably my favorite song! I hear so much influence on music to come in these songs. I've been listening to those four albums over and over again. So good! Everything I'm looking for in music seems to be intertwined in these songs. I love epic, breathtaking songs filled with much instrumental wankery! Bring on the Wankery!! Ok OCI. Your turn! _________________ My Heroes |

| This is a great band. I wish I had more by them. I have Close to the Edge and need to get some more of their '70s stuff (Relayer, Tales and Fragile). _________________ "He had discovered Time and Death and God"-Aldous Huxley

| See. The thought of Yes was so bad it made the OCI's bowels move. _________________ I don't have time for all if it, so I pick my battles. | I had heard OCI smeared himself in peanut butter and refused to post on any threads about Yes until Chris Squire agreed to give him private guitar lessons. I dunno, it's just what I heard. _________________ “If you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up. | I love teh Yes. Everything from 'Fragile' all the way up through 'Going For The One' (featuring Nude Prog Guy on the cover!) is pretty much essential progressive rock. The oddly cheerful attitude that seems to be a mainstay of their stuff may be something to get used to for some, but after that there's just the sound of a band, one of many in the 70's, reaching for the stratosphere in terms of composition, mood, and creativity. Favorite songs off each from this period: Heart of the Sunrise Close to the Edge The Remembering-High the Memory Soundchaser Awaken Other great bands of the period, and a relatable sound: King Crimson Camel Mahavishnu Orchestra Island Magma Van Der Graaf Generator _________________ Dark motions, black eyes, and mournful lust, the wings of solitude ...I'm the hateful raven

| I've been concentrating on their older works first. Magnification was on my list, but I couldn't find it at Best Buy. They did, however, have about 5 copies each of Tormato and 90125. I'll eventually get more YES when I have more $$. _________________ My Heroes |

| ELP owns Yes. Less wankery and more focused. _________________ I don't have time for all if it, so I pick my battles.
