| Bill Ward (everyone all together now, duh, like we didn't expect that) Armando Acosta(not too well known and underrated drummer for Saint Vitus, nobody sounds like A.A.,primitive sounding, yet skilled John (Wolf) Covington,I was fortunate to have attended several Solitude shows and Wolf always blew me away. Tim Tomaselli ,drummer for Place Of Skulls, the man is a living inspiration and a cool guy I also witnessed the skill of Ted Kirkpatrick, the man played a drum solo to classical accompaniment, amazing! _________________ "Lies, lies upon this side and that, truthless violence deception mourned by the wise" "For most children life is a hell, they are sacrificed on the altar, for a few fat bastages wealth" "Drugs still come in with help from Uncle Sam" "Don't you see in their eyes how they trust us,but man in his sin turns that trust into horrible pain" TOURNIQUETS "Ark Of Suffering"

| I think Tico Torres is a very underrated drummer. He lays down a great beat. Personal favourite is Bill Kreutzmann from the Grateful Dead. Great Jazz feel. |

| Neil Peart Bill Ward Nicko McBrain John Bonham Dave Lombardo Gene Hoglan Stuart Copeland Jayson Sherlock Ted Kirkpatrick Derek Roddy Mike Smith There are a few jazz drummers that I really dig too, but I'm assuming we're sticking to rock/metal territory here... |

| Nick Menza. That man knows how to rock out a song. Gar Samuelson a close second. I'm a Megadeth fanboy, can you tell? |

I keep forgetting a lot of good players...these two are also favorites, though I prefer Gar Samuelson over Menza. Both are great though. _________________ "He had discovered Time and Death and God"-Aldous Huxley

Great choices, there. Both are awesome. On a diffrent musical spectrum, I also forgot to mention Ginger Baker and Mitch Mitchell in my first post. Amazing drummers with high energy and an ability to really make you *feel* the grooves they laid down. |

10...one to actually change it and the others to argue about how Neil Peart would have done it better. |
Nah, that would be keyboardists, contemplating how Rick Wakeman would change the light bulb.
It doesn't take any drummers to change a light bulb. We have machines that can do it. |
