Yes, well stated.
I like it, but don't hold it in the same esteem as the first few albums.

ditto. I think there are a couple of really good songs, but overall, the disc leaves me wanting and wondering.... Arttie _________________ Constitutional separation of church and state is a lie; it is a figment of the secular-progressive's imagination.

No. It was NOT a bad album! It had "loads" (pun intended) of great songs on it with heavy harmonies and original riffs. Okay, so it wasn't speed or thrash--but it was still a VERY good metal album though. Songs like The House Jack Built and King Nothing really stand out for me on that album.

Once I got over the fact that this wasn't MoP part 2, I finally began to let Load grow on me, Very good disc.

What seemed odd to me is that they chose "Until It Sleeps" as the first single. I remember when it was going to first be played on WRIF in Detroit, and I couldn't wait to hear it -- and then thought, WTF? The rest of the album is ok, just thought it was weird they put a snoozer like Until It Sleeps out first... _________________

House That Jack Built and Outlaw torn are great songs. I like Load in general, but reload is mostly trash. _________________ My Heroes

I don't listen to it or reload. Though I have both on cassette simply to complete the Metallica cassette tape collection. I like St. Anger better than Load/Reload. But I don't listen to St. Anger anymore either. I guess the only thing I spin from them anymore lately is the latest and justice and back.
