It's about time to whip out the ol' Twisted Christmas cd again by Twisted Sister. The "official" TS Christmas videos are pretty funny on you tube. The newest one- I'll be Home for Christmas- features Lita Ford in the video.

Incidentally, I purchased my first CD for the season today by none other than Bob Dylan. I confess, I like Dylan. Great lyricist, great song writer, and his voice- though always rough around the edges (especially in his golden years)- I find endearing. Rock on, Bob!

Weird. I was just getting ready to whip out the Twisted Christmas cd too. I've had it since it came out in 2006. I actually wish more metal bands would do Christmas albums.
Oh, I picked up the Bob Dylan Christmas cd the other day too! It's an automatic classic...and will be played for years to come. He kept the back up singers and instruments VERY traditional--almost like a Burl Ives or Bing Crosby album.
Oh--and in another week, Rob Halford of Judas Priest releases his new Christmas cd "Winter Songs." Sounds pretty cool!

I'm also a Dylan fan, by the way -- so many great songs!

I also have the Twisted Christmas DVD. I actually broke it out and viewed it with my co-workers last holiday season.

And I'm always careful to break out my Stryper Reason for the Season/Winter Wonderland vinyl too.

So far though, Russ Taff has managed to create my favorite Christmas album: A Christmas Song. Truly great!

Still waiting on my Dylan Christmas disc to arrive.

I love both the TS and RT Christmas discs. One of my favorites has got to be my Dr. Demento disc.
