IDK,there is just something about that guitar sound Ness has,it is just so timeless.One of the few bands that have changed their sound somewhat and made it better,so much better IMO.
Really like Ness vocals too,same thing,just classic and timeless.Excellent night driving music.
Got to see them twice.Their hardcore fans are a trip,never saw so much flannel,white t-shirts and dudes with sideburns in one space before,it was like a Luke Perry cloning event

Greatly dig White Light also,Don't Drag Me Down,Through These Eyes,Down on The World some of my faves,their self-titled and Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell are mandatory listens IMO.Like a few from Prison Bound,but overall my least favorite from their later catalog.Ness solo effort Cheating At Solitaire also has some good stuff,particulary the cover of Hank Sr's "You Win Again"
