I've heard them, I just don't like them. That doesn't make me a "snob"
it just means I have different tastes than those who do like them.

I think they get credit for being better then they are but that doesn't me they're bad. Just not my thing.

When you call me--and a whole lot of other posters at the CMR--"80's hair metal snobs?" you're doing something which is calculated (you even said as much, that it was entirely forethought out and calculated, your words here, "I knew my reply would get alot of response. You took the bait there, GW....") to get a *rise* out of me, and some of the other posters here. Did you have fun man?? Was it worth it??

You caught me at a time, as I made that post, when I was tired, hungry, and a little stressed. Know what Bribanez?? I'm a *wordsmith* and I craft my sentences, and wording in my posts, with the complete intention of saying what I mean and meaning what I way. I read your words and took their meaning for what they said. Simple English definitions.

You said, "80's hair metal snobs?"....... How am I supposed to take that?? Tell ya' what.....on a day, and at a time I was not, "tired, hungry, and a little stressed" you probably would have gotten a response from me that was something like:

SLIPKNOT = or....

SLIPKNOT =(sarcasm) or....

SLIPKNOT = "AARRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH Pirates everywhere think SLIPKNOT sucks, and believe every masked member of that band should walk the plank!!"

Instead, "tired, hungry, and a little stressed" was my mood, so you got what you got. What comes around goes around, as is said.




3. Next point. D knows me well. She is correct, I was not being "arrogant" to others who like the band. When you said, "And the post I was replying to in which GW wanted 2 so he could **** on one and use the other to cover it up wasn't just as arrogant to people who like the band in question?" I was slamming the band, not its listeners and fans.

No, really, when you say you want to **** on it, to me that offends a fan of that band. You're saying you want to **** on something I and Fortifiv3 happen to like. You may not have meant it that way but that's how I took it. Even with all your fancy wordsmithing.

Now we can agree to disagree on musical tastes and leave it at that.
