| A man who's known more for being the singer who replaced Dave, he's done some great solo work. A great run with Standing Hampton, Three Lock Box and VOA being his best he's done quite a few others that are more hit and miss. I love his work with HSAS and Chickenfoot. Any other fans? _________________ I don't have time for all if it, so I pick my battles. | I hate him for his Van Halen years... I like most everything else he's done though. A little generic, a little lite at times, but overall some decent stuff from Montrose, through the solo years, HSAS and right up to the VH days... Some good stuff since, but the whole Van Halen thing just turned me on him a bit. I like very, very little of that stuff. |

| I like Sammy Hagar. I prefer his solo stuff and his work with HSAS, but I'm not a big fan of his work with Van Halen. |

| But you're rock candy baby Hard, sweet and sticky.
I was a fan before Van Halen "Lost" Dave,.......... I think that he picked up, Right Where He Left Off,........after VH.... LOVE 3 Lock Box!! I think he is a bigger Rock Star than he appears to be, because he "worked" "with" other stars............but, he contributed in a Major Way, imo. _________________ I'm not going to taste you to verify if you have bad taste or not, but let's just say I strongly suspect that you do.

| I like his work with VH but think he is better doing solo stuff and Chickenfoot is amazing. _________________ I don't have time for all if it, so I pick my battles. | I like pretty much everything he has done, including Van Hagar. Chickenfoot is awesome, and HSAS and Montrose were excellent also. Dig his solo stuff, too, though some of his later stuff was spotty. Puts on a killer live show.
