I have been a huge fan for years and was still holding on that I might get to see them live some day!

Rest in peace my friend! Plus I never realized he lived in San Dimas he was my neighbor!

....and that album was an epic listening experience on a car stereo back then!........That was on eo fo those albums I bought with no ideas what to expect, and it floored my. All I needed to here ewas the oscillating synth riff at the beginning of "The Tower" and I was hooked!......

..the band had a replacement bassist for several years after Jones left (Felix Robinson). Angel has played a few one off shows, but can't seem to put anything significant together. ..............I used to see Angel shirts now and again, but nothing in the recent past............

Bummer.

Loved their stuff from the 70s.......all classics IMO.

It was nice to $$buy$$ their stuff as it came out and just be floored at the quality and beauty of each album.

...my only knock on them was the poor quality of their live album. In that era you really expected a double live album to hit you right between the eyes, but that one lacked for some reason. If memory serves they were pushing to get product out and it wasn't really up to the bands standards.....

I just found all 5 of the 70's period studio albums on cd, MINT condition!....original pressings and all. $30 for all of them. Some guy just brought in a stack of used cds to trade in, they hardly look like they've even been touched. All of the 70's Angel discs were in the bunch. I gotta say...I'm completely blown away by Angel. I always wrote them off as kind of a cheesy glam band....boy was I wrong! These cds won't be leaving my player anytime soon! I have Live Without A Net on hold at the store....original pressing. I can't believe what I find at my local used cd shop sometimes....

RIP. They had some great music, not what you'd expect looking at the album covers.

I like ANGEL.

We are all aging.

The bodies wear out.
