Isn't that controversy alone enough for a good gimmick? It seemed to work with Marilyn Manson. I tend to think that if Manson didn't spend 8 years of his childhood at Heritage Christian School than his story loses its effect. Wasnt one of the big fascinations with him the fact that he(Manson) was so close to christianity?

Why the mystery? Why doesn't Roger speak for himself? |
1. Not really. I ran Roger's OWN message boards for three years, and he only periodically stepped in even there. He works a ridiculous amount of hours a week as a realtor/mortgage broker, so his time is always limited, narcissism aside.
2. Not really. If that had any capital, I'd score more often than I do Manson made it work because he had the Reznor machine behind him...note that when that ceased to be the case, his career up and died...
3. Roger prefers to let folks like me speak for him because we're intermittantly more sober than he is, which, if you know me, is pretty funny.
Basically, we are kindred spirits, both of us being former ministers and such. But I've always been more open to dialogue than him, and I suppose he recognized my diplomatic skills in this regard. Roger is a better person than you'd think; but a diplomat he is not. For as long as I could, I helped him try to make a comeback; but ultimately, he took too long (even for me) to get his stuff together, and after about the 93rd false start, I just sort of told him to call me when he had something tangible. I tried to help him get a new album together, and reissue the old ones...but it never came to anything. I'm still happy to help him get it together, but at this stage, I sort of wish he'd call it something else. At this point, we're still friends and all, but I'm not sure what he wants anymore...

| He probably does not know what he "wants" either, any more than you do. BTW i'm not kidding either. (I've gone too far when I have to qualify my statements as joking/sarcastic or sincere. Oh well, I did it to myself) _________________ "The 'farce' is strong with Sith Lord Obama-Wan." words of Scourge.

| I haven't spoken with Roger in some time; I suppose we're due to catch up. Last we spoke, he was terrorizing some poor Swedish journalist. )+( _________________ Futuo sese quasi sese nescio capio a ludo. Amen. |
