For the record:

Anders contacted me SEVERAL times.

I dodged him a bit. I wasn't really talking to Roger anymore at the time. In a strange way, he sort of brought us back together, as far as dialogue.

This sort of surprised me, too. When I e-mailed him originally, Roger wasn't interested in talking to Anders in the slightest. I practically had to twist his arm. I finally gave up.

Suddenly, three weeks later, Roger is ALL ABOUT talking to Anders, and I start getting "CC's" of all their glorious dialoguing.

I have no smurfing clue WHAT Roger wants, or has in mind with this. His answers to Anders are completely contradictory with the last seven conversations that we had.

I don't know what to make of ANY of this. For instance, the last time I talked to Rog, he seemed cool with Larry. Now, suddenly, he has a stick up his ass about him. Has he forgotten that Larry isn't in Once Dead anymore? That was always his only beef with him...

I suppose a lot of this is my fault. I moved on, and left Roger to his own devices. Roger really does need a publicist. If nothing else, he needed a friend here, and I sort of ditched him. (In favor of things like...oh, sanity? A semi-normal life?)

I feel like I let him down here. For three years, he paid me to be a go-between, and the one time he really needed me, I buggered off and got pneumonia and stuff.

Oh well. This should at least be interesting to read.

Seriously, though, I respect you (or anyone) for having a burden and standing up for a friend. Especially if it's someone with such heavy maintenance as Roger seems to be a lot of the time.

I have some questions I'd like to pose to anyone in the know:

1) Does Roger lurk on these boards?

2) Wouldn't Roger gain more exposure in the secular market if he played up the whole ex christian thing? Isn't that controversy alone enough for a good gimmick? It seemed to work with Marilyn Manson. I tend to think that if Manson didn't spend 8 years of his childhood at Heritage Christian School than his story loses its effect. Wasnt one of the big fascinations with him the fact that he(Manson) was so close to christianity?
