| Musically, they remind me of early Metallica, with a lot of thrash and plenty of guitar riffs. Vocally, I'm sort of reminded of Twisted Sister (Dee Snider). Did these guys ever get any attention back in the day? This album came out in 1989, but I picked up in the mid-1990's, where I found it in a batch of discount cd's. Joe |

| Steve Grimmett didn't really.. 'belong'... but he's good and the band is good (seperately, better). A record company's doing, was that intervention.. _________________ Dark motions, black eyes, and mournful lust, the wings of solitude ...I'm the hateful raven

Not really. Thrash fans (such as myself, Ult, SideShow, Kmorg, etc.) knew them, even back in the day, but they never got "big". They were more of an "underground" type of band. | Onslaught were definitely an underground thrash band back in the day. The first two albums were great examples of early thrash but the whole satanic imagery got really stale really quick. "In Search of Sanity" is one incredible album minus the opening track of nothingness. |

| The only album I've heard is Power From Hell, which I believe is their first...and yeah, the satanic imagery on it gets old quick. But musically, it's some of the best early thrash available, IMO. Nice and simple and weighs many pounds! |
