Looking for some good heavy metal Christian music. I'm falling in my walk with God...and i know there is a way for me to get back on the path without giving up some awesome music. Any recommendations?

There are literally hundreds of Christian metal bands of all different genres out there.

Some of the more well known ones are:

Believer (good quality thrash).

Mortification have released a lot of material which range from thrash to death style.

Tourniquet. Thrash/Speed Metal. I still believe their first 3 albums are the best being: Stop the Bleeding, Psychosurgery and Pathogenic Ocular Dissonance.

Ultimatum are awesome thrash.

Living Sacrifice (Their first s/t album actually sounds like Slayer, their first three albums are my favourites).

For every secular band out there, there is a similar style of music being distributed from bands who hold fast to Christ.

These days, I personally listen to both secular and Christian metal, BUT if you are feeling vulnerable in your walk with Christ, it is helpful to concentrate on listening to bands that you will find uplifting. When I first became a Christian, I only listened to Christian Metal, because that was best for my faith at the time. Everybody undertakes a different journey. This is just my perspective. I hope you find this helpful.
