What a cool song from Great White's LET IT ROCK album. I think the album overall lacked some of the hooks of their previous records, but this song I consider a very fine moment for them.

That disc had a lot of cool songs and some definite filler. It was done when they switched record labels and my understanding is they used some "b-material" to round out the album to get it published. The label ended up going under.

Interesting. Did they do a tour supporting the album? Do you know what songs they've played live from it?

I believe they did a brief club tour, but with no backing, didn't do a lot. I'm pretty sure they have played "My World" and "Hand On The Trigger" live. I'll have to sift through some of my boots....

"Man In The Sky" is a cool song! I like the whole "Let It Rock" album!

I would love to see them do a mini acoustic set in the middle of a show and play "Man In The Sky," "Sail Away" and "Save Your Love"!

They have done mini-acoustic sets, and they do them well.

I pulled out Let It Rock today and forgot how much I enjoy it. Just came out at the wrong time on a dying label (Imag-o was the label). Looking back now, there are really only a couple of songs I would have left off, and even those aren't "skippers" for me. But, of course...it is Great White!
