What would it be called?

I like tsirhC sesuj.

Or maybe 7 years of Heaven on Hell.

WannaBe wouldn't be a bad name either.

His band will all be wearing fire retardent suits of course.

It will give new meaning to death metal.

Can you imagine the stage shows toward the latter albums.

Wow!

Since the "anti-christ" is a make believe charactor, "The Wizz" would suit him fine! Twisted Evil

I agree. The man of lawlessness in 2 Thessalonians 2:3 was a prediction of Nero's rise to power and persecution of the early Church. His arrival was 'future' for Paul's audience and described in Revelation 13. There's no reason to believe that Paul was referring to an individual who would arise in the distant future. The idea of a final antichrist is a huge conjecture more than anything else.

Anything against Christ or his church is antichristian... therefore, he already has son much many bands than Jesus do... (sorry to say)

Not wanting to go off topic, but your reasoning here is quite surprising to me. I haven't attended church for a few years now, but in my youth I did attend quite a few denominations and all of them believed in the Anti-christ as a current/upcoming concern (even if they didn't agree about millenium issues).

Did I just just attend the odd ones Smile (I attended Baptist, Presbyterian and Assembly Of God) or has theological interpretation evolved massively in the last 10 years?

(I'm not having a go at all, I really am curious - please point me to some links that explain this no-anti-christ view for me to read upon)

Actually, it evolved a number of years before you were born, what you were taught is the erroneous evolutionary view. What Scourge said has been believed by the Church at large long before the TV evangelist came on the scene!

Hmm, perhaps not, seems like it's rather hard to nail down dogma of the Church concerning this "anti-christ." Arrow

thats it! Saviour Machines the anti-christ!

i dunno i dont go by theology of oldtime preachers or catholosism, but what i read in the bible. nero could have been a type of the antichrist he could have been a anti christ or what ever. but the antichrist that the bible shows (actual or metaphoric) is one more cunning and evil then nero (which is hard to grasp when you learn about nero). i dunno but its not important who the antichrist but who the real Christ is.

I agree Nero was just a foreshadowing.

You got Pre, Post, Mid trip and all sorts of beliefs when it comes to eschatology.

You have those who say we are in Hell now, others say no we are in Heaven.

Some see it getting worse by the minute others see the church getting stronger by the hour.

I'm a "Pre" and I do believe in a literal son of perdition yet to come.

If you don't that is fine. Not an essential doctrine as far as salvation goes.

How about Manson Marilyn or Self Annointed Charcoal?
