| Anyone heard Hardcore Superstar's new album, BEG FOR IT? These guys from Sweden rip it up! Hooks and riffs in the vein of 80s metal / sleze with a whole load of attitude....Three tracks are up including Beg for It, Into Debauchery and Shades of Grey on their myspace. http://www.myspace.com/hardcoresuperstarOpinions? |

| Mine just came this week. I've spun it 3 times so far and I'm kinda disappointed. It gets off to a good start with the first two tracks but then seems to get sort of unmemorable for me. Of course, I had the same reaction to Dreamin' In A Casket initially and that one grew on me so who knows? Neither of their last two top their S/T for me though. _________________ "The banner of loud and rebellious music will never die. It just gets older." - GODSWIZARD

| As usual, one of the best sleaze/glam metal bands is largely ignored in North America. Their label distribution over here really sucks. _________________ "The banner of loud and rebellious music will never die. It just gets older." - GODSWIZARD

| I'm still not a huge fan of Dreamin' In A Casket. It has several really good songs, but about half comes across as filler to me. Arttie _________________ Constitutional separation of church and state is a lie; it is a figment of the secular-progressive's imagination.

| Peeps on all message boards are raving about Beg For It so I decided to give it another spin. I may have been to harsh with my initial opinion; it's sitting better this time around. _________________ "The banner of loud and rebellious music will never die. It just gets older." - GODSWIZARD

| Fantastic album. A step up from Dreamin In A Casket. Maybe not quite as good as the classic S/T, but it's got all the markings of a great piece of sleaze rock... _________________ Love Bomb Baby!

Yeah, that's my take too now. Still not up to the S/T or even the early stuff like Bad Sneakers and a Pina Colada in my book but definitely better than Dreamin' In A Casket. ANd the band has now officially changed their musical direction IMO. They are now more glam/metal and have discarded the punk inclinations of their early albums. They are now more "Faster Pussycat or Britny Fox" than "Backyard Babies" in my book. _________________ "The banner of loud and rebellious music will never die. It just gets older." - GODSWIZARD

| Man, I thought Bad Sneakers was TERRIBLE! Don't like that album at all...way too punkish. I pulled out Dreamin In A Casket today to see if my opinion has changed...it hasn't...much. Some of the songs are a bit better than I remember, but I still would label it a 60/40 disc at best. | Well, they did start out as a punk band. No Regrets is probably has the most punk leanings on it, to my ears. I like all directions this band has gone though. _________________ Love Bomb Baby!

| And I don't! LOL! Well, let me clarify...I don't like much punk. If it is more the skate/thrash hybrid punk of the Crucified, One Bad Pig, early Suicidal Tendencies, etc., then I like it more.
