| The ZEP! Awesome band. A classic. Without them we wouldn't have all the posers that many worship today. On a semi-related note, I finally picked up the Robert Plant/Alison Krauss cd. A solid cd that I will enjoy for years. |

| I did not fully appreciate them in my younger years, but I've grown to think of them as one of, if not the premier heavy rock bands of all time.
Almost everyone who came after was influenced in some way by either Zeppelin or Sabbath (or both). _________________ It's almost like religion is what happens when the Spirit has left the building. - Bono |

| An absolute pinnacle of classic hard rock that has endured over the years. Those who put them down should of actually seen them live they were are amazing. I agree if not for Zep I think todays music would be slightly different! Wargod48 _________________

I have no problem whatsoever agreeing with that statement.
If both LED ZEPPELIN and BLACK SABBATH had not been around......things would be different.

| I've never cared for them, but the guy I work directly with absolutely loves them, so I listen to them quite a bit. They really are pretty good, but still not exactly my cup of tea.
As soon as Erv (my co-worker) starts getting on my nerves though, off goes the Zep and on goes both a lot of power metal and gothic metal (which he hates). Man, it is funny seeing him try to make fun of operatic bands like Frozen Dusk and Wishing Well. |

| I'm not saying they were not influential...I just don't like the songs. Arttie _________________ Constitutional separation of church and state is a lie; it is a figment of the secular-progressive imagination.

| | .............. I went through most of the 70's and 80's being totally indifferent as far as LZ goes. There was so much oversaturation of their music due to the radio and all my friends that I just got burned out on them quickly. I still turn "Stairway to Heaven" every time it comes on the radio.........................but in the final outcome that turned out to be a good thing. It forced me to explore other bands out their, and some of my favorites hit my radar due to that.............UFO.......early Thin Lizzy..........Be Bop Deluxe.....Uriah Heep.....Queen..............Mott The Hoople...............and many others........today I can appreciate LZ much more than back in the day. I felt the same way about the Stones as well. Just too much too much of the time I guess |

| I like to listen to the whole albums for the stones. I know a lot of people like the hits better but there are some really good rock/blues/pscyh stuff going on on the stuff that doesnt get played on the air... Alex |
