| I wasn't overly keen to pick this up, but I found it dirt cheap. I was really surprised! These guys have quite a bit of musical talent. Some f*bombs abound on this disc, but they are a LOT better than I was expecting. Fast, aggressive guitars, actual SOLOS, double bass drumming... The vocals vary between clean and metalcore shouting, bordering on death-ish at times, but not whiny or emo-ish at any time. I;ve listened to The Bleeding a couple times today and am glad I found this. | Yea, I have seen them several times and have actually met them. A friend of mine is a cousin of Darrell Roberts so some times we are able to see them backstage before and/or after the show. REAL heavy sounding live; the bass is incredible! _________________ Let's pray that the human race never escapes from Earth to spread its iniquity elsewhere. ~ C. S. Lewis

| I just got a call from my friend and he told me that Darrell left FFDP and they got Jason Hook (Alice Cooper) in the band for his replacement. Not sure if this a permanent move for Jason or not though. _________________ Let's pray that the human race never escapes from Earth to spread its iniquity elsewhere. ~ C. S. Lewis

| The one song on the radio is not bad as far as metalcore goes. _________________ I don't have time for all if it, so I pick my battles. | I don't think I would refer to this as metalcore, with the possible exception of some of the vocals. Arttie _________________ Constitutional separation of church and state is a lie; it is a figment of the secular-progressive's imagination.

| No? I might check them out if I run across them cheap. Who would you compare them to? _________________ I don't have time for all if it, so I pick my battles. | and I revive this thread. I absolutely loved them and I guess I still do. I backed off from them upon coming back to Christ due to the excessive F-bombs and nihilism but recently I have aired out a bit so to speak as far as that goes. Ashes, The Bleeding, and Never Enough are my favs. The new album just came out recently and it sounds really good. Havent heard a whole lot of it yet though. Although i do hear its loaded with the same lyrical themes as the Way of The Fist album.... so I may or may not pick them back up again. _________________ Matthew 5:43-48 John 3:16 Romans 10:9 & 13, 13:8 1 John 3:21-24 Revelation 22:20-21 www.myspace.com/fullyjustifiedband"My house! my house! my house! | They are pretty good, they had to grow on me a bit. I did NOT like them when i first heard them, I have the first album now and it is pretty good, I don't have the new one yet, but the songs I've heard so far sound a bit better. |
