| Gotta Respect em!!
I was familiar with Kill Em All and Ride the Lightning because my friend always listened to them, but it was seeing them open for Ozzy on their Master Of Puppets Tour that really hooked me!!

| Amazing at one time but seemed to forget what they were about on more recent albums. Up to Reload they still had some good songs but the last two have been real clunkers. Still one of the best thrash bands on the planet due to their early catalog. _________________ All our ways that seem so right Lay inside the ways of death All our trying and our denying Paupers and peasants, masters of jest. |

| The first three are must have's...Justice had some killer stuff as well...and the black album was about 50/50, but still had some cool stuff. After that, I have to really...REALLY....try to find more than two good songs on a disc. | Yep. Arttie really did hit the nail right between the eyes with that one!
Kill 'Em All is a must have simply because it is a historical (and very solid) look back at what became metal masters and pioneers.
Ride The Lightning and Master of Puppets are must-haves because of the Oh My God factor. I consider these two classics and essentials for anyone who says they love metal music. Haven't heard either one? Go do it today! |

| Can't stand anything from them. There always just seemed to be much better thrash bands around than Metallica. I especially dislike James' voice... on the early thrash stuff and even moreso on his later attempts at melodic singing. _________________ ] |

| A pretty cool video someone put together there. But it would have been even more great with footage from Platoon or Hamburger Hill. _________________
