Is this the band from New England that just released their album within the last few months? If so, the samples I heard didn't seem very death metal to me. Sounded a lot more metalcore. If we're still talking about the same band, what are the lyrics like? Are they Christian at all?

I think they're from Massachusettes. There is a little core but for the most part a lot more death happening. The lyrics are very christian oriented.

Lyrics seem to be in the KsE mold(not a surprise, as they baost having Jesse Leach doing some guest vox), in tat that an very easily be taken to be "Christian" type lyrics......I also have to agree with the more "metalcore" assesment, but it's NOT in the "tough guy" breakdownfest style,
rather in the Gothenberg worship style......there's enough of these "core" elements, from what I heard in the samples, that I couldn't really call it death metal. That doesn't mean I don't like it, though. It's on the "go and get" list now, so thanks for the heads up.

Ok, I suck at being a genre Nazi. Without the breakdowns every thirty seconds I tend to not lump it in with the core but I understand why it might get some of that tag. Now that you say G-burg I do hear some Arch Enemy but not quite at that quality.

I certainly don't mind the core thrown in. I'll probably check them out because they hit my radar awhile back, and I can probably dig the lyrics. I'd kinda forgot about them because I never new when exactly their disc was going to come out.
