HUGE Bowie fan here.....I even dig his very first album as well......what a shame that the most recent pressings omit "The Laughing Gnome". Hey, at least it's on the Anthology 1966-1968 disc. David Bowie is one of those artists where I love his voice so much, that he honestly could sing the local phone book from A-Z and I would still dig it. As far as i'm concerned, the term "bad album" never applies to Mr. Bowie.
I'm also very fond of the 2 Tin Machine albums he did.

I couldn't agree more

Bowie is an artist who I can always listen to 365 days a year, my wife and I are both huge fans of David Bowie, between the both of us we have most of his catalog including the s/t album still missing a few studio albums but not many also got alot of the dvds too including the Best of Bowie DVD which is a must have for any Bowie fan

Some of my fav albums by him are....

Low
Ziggy Stardust
Diamond Dogs
Station to Station
Earthling
Hours

the only thing i am not crazy about with Bowie is some of his covers, when he did Across the Universe I didnt really care for it

That's always a good thing when your wife likes the same artists that you do.....a VERY good thing!

.....oh, whatever......every album is a favourite.
The only ones I don't have are Tonight and Never Let Me Down. I need to get those soon.

I enjoy Bowie, I wouldn't call myself a huge fan, but I like most of what I've heard. I think some of his eighties stuff misses the mark for me personally, but the classic stuff I appreciate.

HUGE Bowie fan here.

Some of my favorites include:

The Man Who Sold The World
Scary Monsters
Heroes
Heathen
Hunky Dory
Ziggy Stardust

The Tin Machine albums are also great and very underrated. I think I like "Tin Machine II" a little better than the first one.

David Byrne (ex-Talking Heads) is also a great solo artist that is similar to Bowie in many ways. Some of you may enjoy his work as well.

The only ones I need are.....

Let's Dance
Tin Machine
Tin Machine II
Budda of Suburbia

that might be it cuz in the last year I added Sound & Visioin (box set) and the S/T to the library

Its very cool my wife is into Bowie like me, but I think its the only one we both have a strong passion for we agree on a few more artists but not on the level that we both agree on Bowie

I have on CDR the Peter & The Wolf that Bowie narrates or reads but id like to replace that with the actual CD I Remember hearing that when I was in 3rd grade and I loved it.

Never Let Me Down AOD is a very good album ive read reviews where they called it a flop but I thought it was a very solid album

I like his early stuff. I bought a Greatest Hits a few years back and listened to it fairly regularly.

Maybe I'll buy some of his albums one day (again, his early stuff).
