PostSubject: Check Out my Band   Tue Nov 03, 2009 5:32 pm

I used to post here a while ago, came back, and My log in was gone

anyway, I posted this in here because technically speaking this is not a christian band, even though I am and write all of the lyrics

I would like to know what you think, the songs are new, and we are looking for a better guitarist than me.

Thanks
Chris

Musically, it's pretty decent, but the vocals are WAY out of key. That's a deal breaker for me when it comes to my music listening habits.

Dude, from Albuquerque! Do you know the guys in Ultimatum?

I'm liking your sound a lot, but like AOD said, it might help to drop the vocal melodies to an octave lower so you can belt them out while remaining on key. Great stuff, though.

Pretty decent stuff indeed. I agree about the vocals, though I will say that the vocal quality (as it would be likened to a guitarist's tone) is very good. So, once the pitch is good, you'll really be on your way.

Pretty much this. I think the vocals have a pretty darn good sound IMO, but they just get out of pitch pretty easy. Once that's taken care of, things will be even better Gonna definitely keep an eye on the band's progress Twisted Evil

These songs were recorded more for the band

We lost our guitar player, and all our music a month ago, and had a show planned for this weekend, with an hour slot

so the stuff we have put up was written and recorded very quickly

The vocals on the first track were recorded after I had been up for 24 hours

its been a tough month

I know the vocals are good at times and a bit off at times

We are going to do proper recordings after the show this weekend, after taking a week or so off

As for Utimatum, I know of them, and I know they post here, but I have not met them personally

We are playing at Misty's Hideaway, Nov 7th
We are the opening band, and start at 9.

After the show we plan on adding a guitarist and bassist, I have a friend of mine filling in on guitar, and I'm playing as well, but I am not a great guitar player, and recording a demo CD, taking alot more time, the vocals will be alot more polished, harmony notes, and stuff.

Not to bad. the vox are not as bad as people have made them out to be. with some practice time I think your vox can be a bright spot in your band. Keep practicing and you are well on your way.

I would also be more than happy to hear when we can listen to more recordings Smile

Sounds good. I like it. Keep pushing forward.

On the subject of New Mexico bands I recently gave up the keyboard/synth spot in Kryoburn (from Carlsbad,NM) thought maybe ya might have heard of them since they don't really live that far away from ya.

Rock on dude.
