| Hey guys. Just wanted to take a poll on if you buy your music from MP3 (itunes, or any other online buying source) or CD. I also included a record option for those who like em' If you want to, state the reason why. I like CDs, because, you get the lyrics, album art, right there in your hand, and it is great for transporting to parties and stuff...although you have wait and pay more to get it shipped, I like to be able to get the CD and put it on my MP3 afterwards. |

| I voted CD, theres nothing like opening the shrink wrap, popping the lid of the case for the first time after a purchase....an mp3 will never replace that feeling. My generation dosnt get it. |

| I have bought exactly ONE mp3 on-line.... Stender nailed my feelings 100%! Arttie _________________ Constitutional separation of church and state is a lie; it is a figment of the secular-progressive's imagination.

| A while back, I would have voted for CDs. After a while, they take up too much room. MP3s cut down on that problem. |

| I think the only time I would download something off the net, is if was an ultra rare demo or something that I couldnt get on CD very easy...but even then tracking down something like that after lots of time spent searching makes it all the better if you DO actually manage to get that one gem you have been looking for! |

| BAH! ...there was a time when it was all about the CD, but nowadays it's lower cost for me to purchase the MP3 downloads...they do, however, have to be LEGAL and of HIGH QUALITY, otherwise I'm not interested... _________________ |

| The excitement of opening it, the new CD smell, the visuals - CD. I bought Rob Rock's "Holy Hell" on itunes when it came out and the mp3's I got where whacked. Had an audible skip in the first second of each song. I emailed itunes never heard back. I emailed Rob Rock, and he said "Holy Hell is on itunes? I hope I get paid for it!" (paraphrase) I might buy a mp3, if there is only 1 or 2 sogs I like. |

| I usually stick to mp3's because its easier for me to buy iTunes cards. But, from my favorite bands, I buy the CD's. Because I do agree...its just killer to be able to open the cd and actually have it. |

| $10.00 a month gives me all the music I can download and listen to. I could never afford to buy all the CDs that I'm able to legally download from iMesh. Probably never buy another CD. _________________ KingsRite

| Voted for cds, although I have bought mp3s when there was no other choice (Dan Lively comes to mind). I have also been known to download when the album in question is unavailable on cd, but my preferance is always towards the physical product on the shelf. If there is no more room, buy/build more shelves! _________________ “If you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up. | If I can't find it in MP3 form, I resort to CDs. As a result, my Russian metal CD collection is going up. _________________ "When I get hold of the big bad wolf I just push him under to drown Then I bite him in a million bits And I gobble him right down"

| Only one option for those of us stuck in the past?? What about cassette tapes? Or 8-track? The first metal albulm in our house was when my brother bought Ozzy Osbourne's Bark at the Moon on 8-track. I voted for record, although I recently decided to purchase an MP3. |

| I only buy CDs. I rip a lot of my CDS to MP3 format for my MP3 player. I store my CDs away in a safe place. Not GW's vault though. _________________ Made in New Zealand
