| | when I first got The Great Divide a couple of years ago, I could not get into this especially as Alter Bridge was getting plenty of spins and think they"re great!, well I've been giving this some solid play lately I love it, it has really grown on me. |

| Its definitely more "Creed" than Alter Bridge, so if that is where you are going musically, then yes, it is a great disc. I like it for what it is, but I also didn't loath Creed the way a lot of people did/do. | I bought it for my wife because she is a Creed fan. I don't mind it when she plays it, but I never play it on my own. _________________ It's almost like religion is what happens when the Spirit has left the building. - Bono |

| Creed had some great songs. I couldn't get into Stapp's solo work quite as much but it was good. He might have been off his rocker through a lot of that but Scott wrote some thought provoking and emotional lyrics. Creed 10/10 Alter Bridge 8/10 Scott Stapp 7/10 _________________ "It is better to be hated for what you are than loved for what you are not." |

Norm, Alter Bridge an 8/10? Have you listened to either one of their CD's all the way through? I definitely would take Myles over Scott any day of the week and twice on Sunday's as far as his vocals go. The guy is amazing! BTW, I found this song over at the AB board earlier tonight and thought I would post it since some of you are Sevendust fans. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n_nujk_yZpk |

| I have no problems with Creed but Alter Bridge is easily my favorite non-Metal/hard music band right now. They simply know how to write great songs and pull them off with umph! _________________ Hey kid!

I have owned both AB discs. Myles is the reason I won't give AB a 10/10. Musically they are superior to Creed. However, Myles vocals grate on my nerves. The guy borders on being emo. _________________ "It is better to be hated for what you are than loved for what you are not." |

| | Creed forever rocks. Long live Creed. Stapp is way better of a singer then Myles. Just wait, it may be years down the road but AB will go the road of Van halen and decide that they need Stapp like VH needed Roth. Even though I prefer Hagar to Roth. It will happen. |

| Scott Stapp...is the biggest jerk of a celebrity I've ever met in my life. He came in my store a couple of times and was very perturbed that we didn't fawn all over him. I didn't care for him prior to that incident (thought he was a jerk based on news stories and his persona) and that night just furthered my dislike.
My Own Prison was a great tune, but it was a long way downhill from there, musically and in terms of personality. _________________ And I can't believe I spent so long, living lies I knew were wrong inside...

| I hope for nothing but the best for Stapp. So what if he made mistakes...we all have. Sure, he has been a jerk, but it doesn't mean he can't change. Even if we don't like Creed or Stapp's solo work, we should still hope he can straighten himself out.
