This is so subjective. This is one person's or one group's list. The only one in the top 10 I'd consider worthy of it is Kirk Hammett's "One" solo.

First off, I would not list a *Top 100* anyway. Evil or Very Mad

Second off, any guitar player that really, really knows his stuff and pulls off a good solo (and it does not have to be long) would make my list......that i'm not compiling anyway. Evil or Very Mad

Third off, the guitar must be plugged in and turned on. That is a must for making the list i'm not compiling anyway. Evil or Very Mad

That is very subjective but thankfully one I was looking for appeared before too long. Mark Knopfler. Very underrated IMO.

Nick, when I said "state the obvious", I meant for myself to say it would be obvious, not anyone else. When reading it, I saw where it might not come out right.
