I just discovered this gem thanks to our new drummer. I find it strange that I have heard so little mentioned about an album this intense. It should be up there with Seventh Son of a Seventh Son, Rust In Peace and Master of Puppets! Do you think it's a largely overlooked and underrated album in the metal scene or am I simply so late that all the hype has died down? I think our guitarist Jere said it best; "even most death and black metal bands struggle to make albums this heavy and intense". ...

I bought the dvd this week and watched it last night.

Incredible show! Their music works really well with an orchestra, and it was great to see Kerry Livgren and Steve Morse up on stage with them for guest appearances

This is a must-have for any Kansas fan, or '70s prog fans.

On a side note if any haven't heard, Kerry Livgren, one of the founders of Kansas who is also a Christian (since '79), had a massive stroke on September 01. Let's keep him in our prayers.

Is there a cheap (ie: free) program that will normalize the levels of differing tracks? If this program exists, where would one, say, download it from? Oh, and at the risk of asking for way too much, I would prefer it to be easy to use.

I'm making some CD's and when you mix some newer songs with older stuff you tend to have wildy varying levels. It's probably an easy thing to fix but I figured someone here would have some expert advice...

Thanks in advance...
