Now that Deliverance, Weapons of our Warefare, River Disturbance and Assimilation has all bene reissued and appear to be doing well, I am requesting that Retroactive Records work with Jimmy Brown and who ever else has the rights to remaster and rerelease What a Joke. I have this one on cassette and Weapons and Stay of Execution on CD and What a Joke is a hard Cd to find. I know I am just one person and What a Joke is sort of an underdog of the Deliverance back catalogue but back in the day I ...

Man, I haven't heard this album in years!

I remember getting it as a new release, and I was a little too young to "get it" -- I expected it to be more like GNR. But I still liked it at the time.

Over the years, I've grown to like the GNR songs that are very old school the best...like Dust N Bones, Bad Apples, Bad Obsession, etc. And the Ju Ju Hounds disc is full of that sound. I love it!

Plus, I've always loved Izzy's voice and style of singing. This album has a real ...

The best example of what I'm thinking of, for me, is DEF LEPPARD. This band has done everything from classic rock to hair metal, industrial to light-pop and retro throwbacks to their original influences... and I like it all!

Bands like Bride get a lot of criticism for changing styles all the time, but what are some bands that have made at least one huge style change and you actually liked it along with ...

Just listening to one of my favorites from the 90s -- Killed by Cain. I know a lot of people were turned off by the sleazy vocals but I thought it was an awesome mix of 70s Nazareth, GnR, and Bride, with a little Pantera groove/thrash thrown in.

I just read that they were called White Ray before Killed by Cain, and released 4 demos that were actually way better and more classic rock! I would die and go to heaven if anybody had any soundclips of those they could shoot my way, or any info ...

Rob Halford has done an execellent job with his new cd "Winter Songs." It rocks. He has done some amazing covers of traditional carols like We Three Kings, Oh Come, Oh Come Emanuel, What Child is This and Oh Holy Night. He definitely stayed with mostly sacred carols. There's really no Rudolph or Santa songs on this cd. There are a couple of what you could call "fun" ones. But he kept the album pretty sacred throughout. This is probably going to be one of my favorite ...

Alldat showed up and kept telling us he was Flava Flav. He's not aging gracefully.

We voted, no more get togethers at the beach, GW wouldn't keep his shorts on.

Tallt kept showing us he could still get funky after all these years.

And Ult just stared at us ...
