The music is awesome. But, the hardcore vocals ruin this for me. If you could get a power singer, then I'd definitely get this. As it is, this style is being seriously overdone right now. _________________ "I have no desire to speak w/other tongues, I already do enough damage w/the one I have!!" - Candlemass

your song o.c.d has a tough riff and is cool. however i have to agree with the fact the vox ruin the tune. just sing! the death hardcore screamo thing is tiresome.

I enjoyed it. The vocals sound to me like they have an industrial vibe going on. Pretty good material, look forward to hearing more.

Really good riffs, and songs, and drums I do like death style vocals, but more like Dark Tranquility, and In Flames The only real problem I had with the vocals, is due to the musical style they lacked definition and emotion, I know they are death metal, but with how the songs are structured, a power metal singer or a very good death metal singer who can change his tone to match the songs better and these would be awesome as they are: very very good!

I agree the vocals are to industrial sounding. to strained. Other wise potential is there.

I like my share of Death metal as well, but something about your song writing does beg for melodic vox. But even as is it's pretty good stuff.

| Will have to check it out, as I like some metalcore-ish stuff. Arttie _________________ Constitutional separation of church and state is a lie; it is a figment of the secular-progressive's imagination.

Strange how so many different takes on the vocals! I don't mind them. I personally haven't heard too many croakers like that. They don't seem to fit any stereotypes of death/black vocals. They're nothing like hardcore or metalcore vox that I've ever heard. Just kind of a weird, cold, monotone croak. Obviously they would be better with some variety and emotion, but that comes with time and experimentation. Oh wait, it comes later in the one track...interesting. The music is cool, but also pretty repetitive. Definitely lends to an industrial vibe, but I think it's more just indicative of a beginner's tendency to paint-by-numbers until he learns enough to deviate from form. Keep it up! You're off to a good start.

I have to agree to the most people here: Some good stuff, but also for me the vocals don't really work with the music. I also expected some vocals that go more into the "heavy metal" direction. The vocals on the second song are pretty good and would fit perfectly to a black metal band like Darkthrone. The song structures and riffs are too simple to work with monotone vocals like that. Some more melodic vocals would make it sound way better IMO. Some classic rock / doom metal vocals... This might sound closeminded and a lot of bands have shown that it's not a crime to combine very different metal styles. But here it sounds a bit strange like you couldn't decide whether you wanna play hard rock, doom metal or industrial. And I can't hear any influences by the mentioned bands on myspace. That's why some people might be a bit confused - including me.

Thanks for the feedback all. Yes, it can be confusing when you take a little of this and a little of that and blend it together and see what comes out. We just write and create and don't try to stick out music into a box and label it. I guess some people won't like that. I am sure as we go and experiment we will find a groove a little more and develop a "sound". I like unique...I am hoping we will be unique and have our own spin on things. These are just demos. Thanks again all who reponded. - vaughn

Cool, groovy music! But I also feel, the vocals are the weak point. _________________ Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. (1 Corinthians 13:12)
