hahahahahaha, this is freaking hilarious! Metal takes no talent to play? Maybe if you're a band called Tempest (oops). I could name a hundred metal bands off the top of my head that are incredibly talented....I love it how you're taking the high road by insulting poor metalheads and their "childish" music, just because your feelings are hurt because nobody likes your stuff.
Oh and I would most certainly say these things to your face, Mick. Sorry to burst your self image of being such a tough guy.

No need to slam Mickey, but that is rather hilarious that he thinks metal takes no talent to play. Now if he's refering to Goliath or Midnight Orchestra I concur. Both of those bands are in the musical genre of wich I prefer, but I think they're both drivel, most of the songs sound the same. I've been around the scene enough to know that our heros have issues, some really big issues, me too. In fact all of our heros in the bible had some as well. Twisted Evil To be honest w/ya Mickey, I've not heard one thing you have released that is worth my hard earned cash, I was quite surprised Will contributed to the MO debut. However I feel that way about a lot of bands that others like, so I'm sure you'll have some support for whatever it is your doing now.

Mick, my previous post was not meant to be a slam. I just didn't like the direction the music was going. That's all. I wish you the best with it but just don't feel obligated to buy it. I am reaching the point in my life that, even though I have liked a particular artist's work in the past, does not mean that I have to support them continually if I don't like their new stuff. Your's is not the only release I felt that way about. I didn't care for Michael Bloodgood's solo record or the latest John Schlitt. I won't be buying either of those.

But, I have no ill will towards you. Shoot, I even sat down with you for some Bar-B-Que in Brentwood to talk about playing WITH you with Nineteen88, and you told me then that you were heading in a more southern rock sound. I like to listen to a little, but southern rock/outlaw country is just not my cup o' tea.

If you're ever in the Nashville area again just passin' through and want to hit up that Bar-B-Que place, shoot me a PM. I'd come and hang for a while.
