| Today I would like to address the topic of Heavy Metal in the world. Many friends have asked me, “Why is Faith Factor so in demand?” I speak the truth and tell you that God is in control of Faith Factor. From its inception, the musicians of Faith Factor have always trusted God to make the decisions in his band. God was looking to choose those who would stand up for him, those who were willing to make a sacrifice. In essence, he entrusted us with a mission, and revealed to us that in his time, we would be transformed into true battle hardened warriors for the Kingdom of Heaven. When it was time to write lyrically, thru months of prayer, the Lord guided us to the message he wanted us to deliver. Here is an example of what I am talking about: During the three years of Jesus’ ministry, he taught in two methods: when he spoke to his disciples, he spoke in strong convicting words, as if he were preaching in Church……. But when he taught in the marketplace, he told stories, or parables. If we teach thru our music with strong convicting words to society, then we approach the world, the wrong way! On our debut album, “Against a darkened sky”, you will hear stories from the bible, because it is addressed to society. They are epic stories, like Jesus’ temptation in the wilderness (Divine Temptations), the end times, (The Rapture), the nativity and the passion (Ascend unto Heaven) Armageddon (In God’s Shadow), Salvation (Light replaces darkness) spiritual warfare (Armor of God) hope thru suffering (In Remembrance), and finally our hearts desires, to play Heavy Metal for the Lord’s purpose (Keep it true) Lastly, the album begins and ends with God’s message: The intro is called evila si eh, which is “He Is Alive”, and the album ends with “The Sinner’s Prayer”. God revealed to us that time spent on the battlefield, would set Faith Factor apart from other bands, and that he would determine such battlefields, in Heavy Metal concerts all over the world, not necessarily in church services where everyone is praising the Lord together. I remember how things changed for us when Faith Factor formed. We were harassed and mocked by friends we had known for many years. We recognized immediately that it would not be an easy road ahead of us. God told us that if we were willing to endure, then we would be given the greatest adventure imaginable in serving the Lord. God has brought us out of a life of sin and bondage to a life of power and victory, in which we serve the Lord. We stand before you, examples of God’s will for each and every one of our lives. Our focus is clear, our paths straight, and our God reliable. We have become Christ centered metal warriors, for the Kingdom of Heaven. The glory,is for God alone. Before the world release of this work God created, entitled “Against a darkened Sky”, we wish to share with you his message of love, grace, and hope – for all to understand the sacrifice his son Jesus made to free every soul from the bondage of sin. Together through the power of prayer, we readily step onto the battlefield, with hearts ablaze and our Savior in our eyes. My brothers in arms, Ski, Joe, Chris, Dan, and I – wish to thank each and every one of you, for your prayers, your generosity, and your hearts filled with love for this ministry! | I wasn't aware that FF was so high in demand, nor was I aware that God has endorsed any bands?
