I have seen Stryper twice in the 80's: 1985 SUC tour and 1987 THWTD tour. I have seen them on the Reunion tour and also on the Reborn tour. Last night's show marked the 5th time I have seen the band. And I must add that I have NEVER seen them attack the stage with such intensity as they did last night! They were spot on and hard hitting!
The sound was crisp and clear. The band exuded vibrant energy and seemed to be in high spirits. I must say also that, while all the members put on a great show, it was Tim Gaines who really rocked the casbah! He was attacking the bass unlike anything I have ever seen, and his stage presence was dynamic! It was great to see him again!
By all means, if Stryper is coming your way, it will be well worth your time and money to see them again!
As best as I can recall, here was the set list (not quite in this order). The band did not play anything off of IGWT.
