You can get the skinny on that whole issue here:

I don't know that I would read anything into it either way. I have no knowledge of anything, but since Mike was doing his own thing, it seems logical that BC could also if they chose to.

I think from the other threads about this that the general concensus here is that we'd love some new Barren Cross with or without Mike. We loved his voice, but it doesn't seem like he is a good fit for them right now. With a powerful voice that could nail the old songs and bring some new elements to the table with new songs, we'd be all over it like white on rice.

So who is this powerful voice you speak of? And where can we find this person? Nobody will ever be able to replace Mike Lee. He was the voice of BC. Anyone else singing will sound like a cheezy cover band. IMO

Mike left the band before and was replaced. I think with a strong vocalist it would work.

It has to be somebody with a "gritty" voice.

Blackie Lawless would be excellent but unfortunately he is on the wrong team.

I don't know that it would have to be gritty...just powerful.

Yeah, but he's in that other band Toxic Taste now. That would be pretty interesting, though, hearing him sing for BC....hmmmm.....would probably sound pretty darn good!

...but he's on the wrong team, as well, I think.

It'd be cool to hear Basauri with them.

He would be my #1 choice, but it doesn't seem like he's interested in recording any longer. No

I like Rob, but he's starting to get that "oversaturation effect" going. I don't really want yet another band with him on vocals. I think Barren Cross would do well to find someone who can fit their sound and add some new tricks.
