Skillet & Bon Jovi

Skillet has a enw cd coming out this August. It is rumored that one of the songs on the album is a cover of Bon Jovi's "I'll Be There For You". Absolutley cannot wait for this cd. I know most prefer Collide era Skillet but I think they have gotten better and better. This cover doesn't surprise me considering John Coopers love of 80's glam metal.

I don't know if they are recording it, but John has been singing part of it in concert.

A post I read mentioned that they did the whole song in concert. The album will reportedly have around 12 tracks and this is a possibly. Again, you know how reliable internet reports are, but it is what i read. I do know that the album is called Awake. If you have seen the Comatose Comes Alive dvd there is a precursor to this report, however. Before doing the great power ballad "Yours to Hold" John says that he would do Bon Jovi cover songs all night but his mangager wouldn't let him. I know he was kidding. I always thought it would be cool if Justin could lure him in for a song on a Liberty n Justice album.
