Awesome set list!

They were going to play Black Snake at Calistone, but ran out of time. I'd love to hear and see that song in particular. Cool

Somewhere I have an old battered VHS tape of their stage show, I forget what it was called. Came in 2 parts. "Alive in America", maybe? Wasn't too thrilled with that.

Now I thought I had heard somewhere that they were working on a new CD with Oz fox, is this not so?

So, yesterday I went to Legends of Rock. Bloodgood where great as ever!
The line-up was: Les Carlsen, Michael Bloodgood, Paul Jackson, Oz Fox and Mark Welling.

Man,
these guys still rock! They had a lot of fun I think - they all had big
smiles in their faces almost through the whole set.
And again: Les' vocals are amazing!

They
played two "new" songs: "Man in the middle" (which they already played
a year ago) and another one (I forgot the name). But they didn't say
anything about the new CD on stage. The new songs are okay, but didn't
really grab me.
The set was officially filmed, so maybe there will be another DVD some day?

As for the upcoming DVD "Live in Norway":
I bought it, but didn't have time today to view it. I think I'll do it tomorrow.
Running time is approx. 45 minutes.
Line-up is the forementioned concert line-up but unfortunately without Paul Jackson.
Nowhere on/in the cover or the DVD the date or name of the concert is mentioned.
Packaging is rather cheap with no inlay.

Okay, took a short look into the DVD on my computer. Still no info about date and place.
It's
an open air at daylight. Video quality seems to be good, audio sounded
a bit thin to me, but I'll have to proof that with my stereo. I watched
"Anguish and Pain" and like I expected the whole band is doing a great
job.

Yeah those videos were called: "Alive In America" & "Shakin' The World". They've been released on dvd now called: "Rock Theater". I love this video!

Bloodgood and Oz have already written some songs together for the new cd, but I haven't heard any info about this in a long time. So, who knows? scratch

When I saw them they played a similar track listing, but they also played Rock and Roll by Led Zeppelin. Also, during sound check Oz played a Stryper song and the entire audience sang the song while Oz played it. It was very cool.

I also purchased the Live in Norway DVD at the Legends of Rock festival on April 4th in Germany. I do have some video problems with this one, it seems each time one of the guys is moving on stage, the picture is kinda blurred.
Audio quality is okay. The DVD is self-burnt, although the printing on the the upper side looks like it's been professionally pressed.

Nonetheless, these guys sold another DVD, entitled Live in Sweden and this one is way better, speaking of video and sound quality. The song order is exactly the same, except for one more song on Live in Sweden in relation to Live in Norway, which is Demon on the run! A killer version!

However, both dvd's do not have Paul Jackson in the lineup.

Nonetheless, as Snert already wrote, the show at the Legends of Rock has been shot as well and the played two new songs, but honestly, both songs were not outstanding and not typical Bloodgood.

Let's see how the final dvd will be!

It was great seeing these guys again! They still have the power, especially Les Carlsen!

Shocked Live in Sweden? I did not see that! Was it outsold quickly?

Overall the Live in Norway DVD is okay, but when they (hopefully) release a DVD of the Legends of Rock set I hope it is of better quality and contains the whole set (same as Live in Norway minus S.O.S plus several other songs and Stryper cover).

Eric, did you view it on your computer? I did and used VLC Media Player. When I used "Deinterlace" the video looked good. I'm not that happy with the camera work though, especially through "Crucify" they should have stayed with Les Carlsen, since his mimic really adds to the greatness of this song.

For anybody who is interested, here is a little video of "Out of the darkness" at Legends of Rock:

By the way - they didn't say anything about the new album at least not from the stage. I haven't been to the interview with them, Eric were you there?

Snert: I tested the Live in Norway with a standard dvd player and tv. Video quality was not good, sound quality okay. Then I tested with the Windows Media Player and this time the video quality had definitely improved. The sound; well, it's alright, I guess Very Happy

Concerning Live in Sweden: I bought this one immediately after it had been placed on the merchandise table Smile . So I don't know whether they had copies left later on or not! Sorry!

About the new album: I attended the interview for a short time, but you could hardly hear the guys speaking and most of all, the guy doing the interview, Jörg Schwehn, frankly speaking does not have the talent to do an interview! Therefore, I was bored after a few minutes and left.

I saw them at C-Stone in with Jeff Scheetz on Lead Guitar when they played that song..... whoa!! Zaffiro had left and the gig was already booked. They started to change the feel on that song after the first two tours to a more fast rock n roll tune than a 'thrash' song... still rocked !!
