Western Australia's reigning metal warriors have been hard at work. Following the success of "Destined For Ascension," the band have recorded a third album that is now in the hands of production guru Daniel Holmes of Fattdog Studio.
The new album (working title is "This Day Forth") is the first to feature the new five-piece lineup of Vaughan Gregory, Tim Steadman, Matt Skipworth, Dave Kilgallon (also of Scourged Flesh) and Elias Salmela. The album is a raw and spontaneous creation that was recorded in little over a week; however it is unlikely to see the light of day until next year (they are still promoting "DFA" which is selling extremely well).
For those who enjoyed tracks like "Buried Alive," "Celebrity Judge..." and "Perish The Thought," this new material will not only float your boat, it'll rock your world. Think harder, more aggressive and definitely more fun than ever before... actually any fan of Megadeth or Slayer should definitely be hanging out for this one when it drops in early 2009. You have been warned...!

Hey Scott, if you reckon we're moving fast, the funny thing is that this is our "year off" where we'll do less work than ever before due to family commitments and all sorts of little things that have sprung up unexpectedly. We're not touring this year except for local gigs - oh, and that reminds me, we may release a live recording if all goes well - the gig will be in July. So in our "year off" we may end up having released one album and recorded two more... while writing for our next (possibly 5th) album, which at the moment is little more than an idea. Stay tuned because Grave Forsaken is going places - fast!

Listening to the samples really shows a big leap from the first album to the next. Everything is taken up a notch, it's tighter and more focused. Great job.
