| Anybody into the band Narnia? I managed to get free legal copies(Ruckus,SpiralFrog) of all their albums but one. I'm enjoying their albums. Their sound changes a little with each album but most bands do. Their compilation album is really good and even contains some live cuts. You have to be a power metal enthusiast to enjoy though. | Love NARNIA. All their stuff is in the vault. I like Enter The Gate best, followed by Desert Land a close 2nd. _________________ "The 'farce' is strong with Obama-Wan." words of Scourge.

| Unfortunate they did their last show with Christian in Ljusdal ( Sweden) last night. We'll see how they proceed after this.... Tor |

| | Eh....they're okay. Their first couple of albums were exciting for me, but then got a little boring. I can't stand Christian's voice. I'm excited to hear the new singer. |

| I didn't care for Christian's voice that much at first, but he did get more aggressive as time went on. I think he had really formed his own style on "Enter The Gate". On that CD, the band was firing on all cylinders! I'm gonna hate to see him go. _________________

| I've tried hard but can't get into them.
If they had a Greatest Hits that were only all of their speedy/catchy tunes I'd buy that. _________________ Hey kid!

| | Great band that got better w/each release, though I like "The Great Fall" the best. Quite honestly I don't get the disdain for Christian's voice by some, I think he's a great singer! |

| I have their first CD. It was not as heavy as I had expected. _________________ YOU MUST RESIST!!! |

| It is too bad he's gone because I too feel they really put it together with Enter the Gate. _________________ All our ways that seem so right Lay inside the ways of death All our trying and our denying Paupers and peasants, masters of jest. |

| I think the Great Fall is their best. The other cds seemed to be inconsistent with some great tracks and some fillers. The greatest hits a good collection of rockers though!! Alex _________________

| | I'd also pick Enter the Gate as their best -progressive and refined. They definitely developed over each release, with ETG having the band finally stake their own territory, rather than being clones. I enjoy all their albums, though find that each has a filler song or two, which was really frustrating, given their talents. I haven't got the greatest hits, though, as I have Japanese pressings with two of the bonus tracks on. |

That's odd, never considered them to be clones. |

| "The Great Fall" is my favorite Narnia album. I know this album is not favorite by a lot of others, but I like this album. "Enter The Gate" is the second favorite Narnia.
I hope Narnia will find a cool new vocalist now Christian left the band. |

| I'm listening to (Long Live the King) right now. The download service I used had all the tracks screwed up and out of order. That album is weird in that there is songs continued on next tracks. This seems to be pretty common with european albums. I'm enjoying it, at least they don't hide their witness. They prove that you can indeed right epic albums based on christian beliefs and scripture. No reason to invent sci-fi fantasy and mythical substance in order to produce interesting subject matter. That compilation album is a killer! KingsRite |

| | I think you got a poor download. I have the CD, and I've made favorites CDR's of different tracks and never noticed any of carryover from one track to another. |

| Evidently. I got it figured out. Christian reminds me of the late vocalist of Quiet Riot with a little of the Scorpions dude thrown in for good measure. I really like the last track on Desert Land. That is a catchy & powerful tune. KingsRite |
