good modern or classic ock bands

I'm looking to increase my collection in the rock genre. So far all I have is Disciple, Decyfer Down, and Nailpoint. Looking for some more bands in that style or some that have a classic sound. Any suggestions are very much appreciated. Thanks!

Add Barren Cross, Sacred Warrior and Jacob's Dream to that classic list.

Decemberadio isnt too bad. I picked up their disc a few months ago and while it's not metal, it does have a pretty good modern rock sound. Some of the arrangements have tinges of King's X in my opinion.

I actually like Decemberadio too, they seem a little better then a lot of the nu rock bands.
