I would have voted "Neon Cross" if it were in the list, but of that list then Whitecross is the best.

Are you guys Crazy! California Metal brought Deliverance, Neon Cross, and Guardian to the masses! Shortly after California Metal came out Metal Mardi Gras was staged and Vengeance was unleashed!

Next would be Whitecross, Bloodgood, The Lead, Leviticus, and Trytan.

I remember seeing Vengeance at the Set Free Christian Fellowship in Anaheim I believe. It was the day before the first HIS Festival (which was before Metal Mardi Gras). They played the only songs they had which was off of the first Demo.

I honestly don't remember Cal Metal coming out before Metal Mardi Gras, just because talking with several of the bands there they were excited about it coming out. Who knows I could be wrong... Wouldn't be the first time!!!

Well friend I could be wrong too! Embarassed I did not go to the His Fest but I was at the His II and I was at the Metal Midnight Fest as well I could be the confused one, it was over 20 years ago!

Voted Petra, even though On Fire! is my fave by them. Whitecross would have won if it had not been for the incredible remake of that album that came out later...

This one was much easier than the other threads. Victory somewhat by credit, somewhat by default was Petra. It was my 1st Petra album and one that I really like to this day.

Wow! Whitecross has really wiped all the other competition away here.

I always thought that Neon Cross was 1987 for some reason! Oh well, thanks for the update. I've just picked out my copy of NC and it is 1988.

Went for Bloodgood over Whitecross... just! Two amazing albums, with Leviticus in third place.

of the that list I will have to say whitecross only because it was my first christian metal album, it was mailed to me by a woman 1500 miles away who was witnessing to me. she also sent tempest a coming storm and bloodgood detonation.
wow Bloodgood rocked.

i just love Les's vocals for the high range, and Scott's voice for his unique raspy but appealing vocals.
almost like asking which one u like more the 68 mustand or the 69.
i discovered leviticus a few months later when i hitchhiked the 1500 miles to thank this woman and take her on a date lol. Corny yes, but 21 years later i am still dating her.
Loved leviticus. amazing that a group that had 3 different lead vocalists that all thier albums were great.
I too would have to SFTTE is the best leviticus album
