There was another post about favorite classic albums so I just thought how about Favorite releases of 1986... Man once I started to look it was amazing how many CLASSIC albums came out that year.... Holy cow... I realize that Leviticus had been released in Sweden in 1985 but it didn't hit our shores until 1986... Good luck chosing a favorite, I'm sure Stryper will run away with it but who knows!!! Some of the choices aren't metal but for the time... It was rock n roll... Have fun

This is tough, As much as I love Stryper I gotta go with Idle Cure's s/t. That was a fantastic album that came out of nowhere. To me they were one of the most underated Christian rock bands out there. That album had it all including my favorite "Come Back To Me"

| I voted for Master of the Metal! The first Christian Metal album I ever bought, I had others but they were given to me. Followed by Saint, Bloodgood, Barren Cross, Bride, Stryper and Idle Cure.

You know there's always some smart aleck who is gonna say something like, "So and so came out in 1986, and it's not on this list". So don't say it. I vote for Stryper's To Hell With the Devil.

Saint....easily. Loved most of those albums, including the Idle Cure (though they would get better on subsequent albums).

Definitely Stryper off of that list. That's still my favorite CD by them. _________________ "DEJA MOO--The feeling that you've heard this bull before!"

Wow, another really tough pick. Had to go with Saint, but just barely over Messiah Prophet. _________________ -- Peace, that brief moment in history when everyone stops to reload.

And more ridiculous choice then 1988. I cannot pick a favorite but I voted for Bloodgood. On an equal plane for me, I put barren cross, Stryper, Messiah Prophet and saint
