Hi all!

This is Mazi Bee of Desyre. Some of you might have heard our previous demos Hair Metal Madness and Out Of The Blue Into The Red.
Many, many kind of comments have been heard of those two discs. Some have liked them very much and some have loved to hate them.
In either case, the reactions have only made us more determined. And thank God for that, because with our own might, we'd have given up by now.

Anyway...

Now our first real album is soon to be released. You can get some tastings from our Myspace.

Entitled Warning Of The Night it has 11 fiery Glam Metal songs (including a cover) plus one nice surprise.

If you're willing to pre-order this fully graphical digipak, please check more info on our new blog here.

How "soon" is "soon to be released"? I hate preordering from bands when it is going to be months and months before you receive anything.

Yea, I know the feeling.

It's said on blog that "Although the official releasedate is yet to be set, you can now pre-order it and it will be shipped to you within a two weeks."

I hope that's ok.

Hey, Mazi... this is Ian -- I interviewed you guys for Christian Metal Mayhem a few years back. Haven't talked to you in forever -- how have you been?

Hey everyone, just to let you know, these dudes are awesome! If I wasn't broke, I'd totally pre-order this. But anyways, I have their two demos and they are pretty catchy. After listening to them, I have them stuck in my head for days at a time. These dudes are awesome...if you like glam metal...you will like this!

I was going to order this just now. However, when I saw that the price in US dollars is going to be $27, I decided to wait. That's more than a bit steep. Sure, that includes shipping, but that's more than I want to spend on a CD.

It's the usual CD price in Finland. I realize it's more than what you guys have used to pay in there. Actually, our CD is a bit cheaper than most new ones in here. I'm sorry if it's a shock to some. But I'd like to think that it's worth every penny of the price.

Spoiled Americans! I have to pay 40$ for a new CD in Norway, and that is without shipping from across the world! :lol :lol

Dang! I remember when I was ordering stuff from Rad Rockers back in the 90's. Some rarities or limited pressings were quite pricy. Bands like Veni Domine, Discarnated and Horde, etc. Most of them were $30 and up (plus shipping, of course). But I really wanted those discs, so I paid what they were asking.

Well, since you two have given me a good verbal spanking and because I am just in a mood for something old school, my order is complete. I probably should wait until Radrockers or CD Baby or someone else gets this stateside, but I need some old school glam metal!

That's a good choice! Hopefully you'll be getting some rawky vibes from it.
I've been reading lately a lot about superficial lyrics in glam metal.
I've gotta let you know that Desyre has some deep stuff on the lyrical side..

Any idea how long it will be before you guys start shipping orders?

There was a little mistake on the CD-factory's side. The whole round was busted and now they're making new ones for us. They promised to deliver them asap. I donno why these things keep happening. I could write very interesting book about the making of the Warning-album. Maybe I will...

Anyway, if this news disturbs any of you pre-orderers, please let us know. If you want your money back, we understand. We will, however, start shipping the orders immeditealy after we get the new CD's. Sorry for the inconvenience. This is certainly Twilight Zone-stuff...

I would've reported this earlier, but it took some time to find out that the mistake wasn't ours. And it was pretty weary thing to start another "battle" so close to the finish line. Some of us took it really hard.

On the plus-side, the factory allowed each member to keep a busted copy. Those will be among the collectibles some day. Razz

A couple of extra weeks doesn't concern me with preorders. I have waited months for the new Bride disc, and I have had a couple of preorders I never got from a couple of now defunct bands. I'll just wait with you guys. I don't see the point of canceling the order, you refunding the cash, and then reordering at a later date. Count me on board and waiting patiently for this (as long as you hurry! )
