Deliverance - Learn - two tracks from my cd skip!

Have you tried a lens-cleaning CD on your computer drive? Lots of crap can accumulate in there (dust, lint, hair). Check the CD itself for any problematic scratches. Then try reinstalling the CD.

Naah, my cd player on my computer is top notch. The cd is actually scratched...it skips in the same spots on every player there is. It's so bad on those two songs that I can't even rip the entire songs enough to fix them via cut and paste.

BTW...what's up with the disc saying it's from 1992? Intense Live Series came out first and it was released in '93. Is there something I'm not remembering correctly...did Learn actually come out first and, if so, why aren't there any songs from Learn on the Intense Live Series?

I'd ask Jimmy, but he never answers emails or myspace messages...well...not never, but very rarely.

...I distinctly remember it (Learn) coming out in December of 1993...because I bought it as a birthday present from me to me, on December 4th...

Have you tried. Holding the cd up to the light with the printed side facing you. If you can see the scratches thru or weak spots . Take a black sharpie and fill in the scratch/weak spots. I've fixed a few cds this way.

Cliffy, i remember being very into the Learn album back in 1993, and used to study almost everything from cds back then. And i distinctly remembered the fact that it did come out in 1993 but the date on the cd was put as 1992....I used to wonder about it back then and just put it down to the fact that the cd company who made it just made an error. There is no doubt in my mind about this - Learn came out in 1993 after Stay of Execution came out in 1992.

Here's what I foun: "But if you look inside the booklet, and check the liner notes, you'll see that the publishing right for the songs are dated in 1993."
