There should be a FAQ type thread with a list of the top 100-200 albums for peeps who are just getting into it, that would be cool I think

Indeed. And for the record I'm not even a 'believer'. I just like Christian rock/metal. I'm also not a 'satanist' but can and have enjoyed for many many years lots of bands that are considered 'satanic' even though most of us all know better.... its called marketing. They might not be christians, but chances are they most likely are not satan worshippers either.

Myself personaly.... I enjoy hearing any band that stands behind their message, no matter what the message is as long as they truly believe in it and stand behind it whole-heartedly.

Its that conviction I am drawn too, not the message itself. I like classic-rock, hard-rock, heavy metal, and all the other 1,000+ various spin-off styles/genre's that have sprung up over the decades...... I am just simply a 'metalhead' plain and simple as it gets. If something sounds good, then so be it, i'll lend my ears and give it a listen.

With alot of these bands that have been mentioned in this thread it is my first time ever hearing/seeing/reading their names/album-titles,etc. It will help me alot to be able to pinpoint some things I might have had to dig a lil harder for had I not asked the experts

Demon Hunter is among those 'new metal' bands and for some folks here they don't get a lot of love, as opposed to the more 'traditional metal' forms....
