| Kick Axe - Welcome To The Club always stands out in my mind. I like a lot of dynamics and a large, booming drum and bass sound. Eighties production ruled! _________________ “If you make less than $250,000 your taxes will not go up. | Darkthrone ~ Transylvanian Hunger........just kidding (although, I must admit, I do like the the lack of production on that album) Seriously though, if I had to pick BEST production....I would have to go with the Boston self titled album. Tom Scholz refined a brilliant production on that album. |

| I think Ultimatum's "Into the Pit" has great production. Anything Devin Townsend has put his hands own sounds great too IMO. |

Agreed. Townsend is a MONSTER as far as production goes! I love the sound of Learn by Deliverance...Stay of Execution has a great sound for me, as well. Like someone else mentioned above, I am also a sucker for that 80's metal production sound. | For me, the Elefantes got TOO slick, especially with The Brave's first album Battle Cries... That disc makes Def Leppard's Hysteria sound like a garage recording as far as slickness goes! LOL! | I have always thought that Tourniquet's Stop the Bleeding had fantastic production. Production gurus might scoff, but it's always sounded great to me. |

| Vulgar Display has some crushing production, I agree.... Arttie _________________ Constitutional separation of church and state is a lie; it is a figment of the secular-progressive's imagination.

| Even Cowboys from Hell had some killer production.... I think Alice Cooper's Brutal Planet has some great production as well. So does Motley Crue's new one Saints Of Los Angeles. HUGE sound on that disc! Arttie _________________ Constitutional separation of church and state is a lie; it is a figment of the secular-progressive's imagination.

| Pretty much everything Terry Date produced/co-produced had great production. I'll also add METALLICA's Black album too. Sonically, it's awesome. The songs were flawed though in some cases IMHO though. |

| For Christian stuff, Tourniquet's Pathogenic... is the first thing that comes to mind. Secular...I'll say Nevermore's Dead Heart in a Dead World and King's X- Dogman. |
