Never heard of 'em. Any chance they were from the mid-Atlantic Area? Bethlehem Steel was (still is?) a big steel producer around here. Sounds like they may have borrowed the name.

Yeah. I remember White Throne did a review of a 7" single they released. At the time I wasn't too impressed, but heck that was 20 years ago. I think they even released a full demo tape.

If I can find a copy of the review I'll post it.

Yes, my brother played drums for them in the late 80's. Bethlehem Steele was from the Seattle area opened for bands such as Whitecross, Watchmen and others. They had a following here in the Pacific Northwest, but I was curious who else might have heard of them from back in the day.

Bethlehem Steele never had any official demos released but did have one song published on a compilation LP called "Metal Meltdown". The single was reviewed by both White Throne and Heaven's Metal.

Recently, while pouring through old practice tapes, the idea came up of going into the studio to re-record the songs. There has always been this feeling of unfinshed business when the band broke up. To be able to finally release these songs now would be very fulfilling. If this recording happens I'll post a link to get some feeback on the tunes.
