| They were a hair metal band in the late 80's/early 90's. They released two cassette releases "Stand On The Rock" and "It's True". Years later, they would release some cheesy looking CD-R reissues with no doctoring to the sound. If you liked Stryper, then you'd probably have liked L.O.U.D. Sorry.....there is no place online that I know of for you to hear this band if you missed out back in the day. They were never signed to a label, so these releases are VERY hard to find, and they SERIOUSLY NEED to be properly reissed by someone like Retroactive. | You're right. I believe that with a better quality recording and a good label behind them, then they could have turned heads at least in the Christian metal scene. But, without that, they are just another almost forgotten band. Thank the Lord I've got the demos! _________________ "I have no desire to speak w/other tongues, I already do enough damage w/the one I have!!" - Candlemass |

| Good band from the Cleveland area. The tapes are worth picking up if you can find them. Before they were L.O.U.D. , brothers Pat and Frankee Bratcher had a cool Kiss tribute band. Nowadays Pat has a rockin project called Raising Abel. Check em out here: http://www.raisingabel.com/

| The problem with those CDs are that they are just CD-Rs copied straight from the cassettes. Tape hiss was reduced, but there was no remastering or any polishing of the sound at all. Retroactive really NEEDS to give these the special reissue treatment. _________________ "I have no desire to speak w/other tongues, I already do enough damage w/the one I have!!" - Candlemass |

| The recording quality on the first album was pretty band (IIRC). But the second one wasn't too bad. It would be great to see these get remastered and officially released on cd _________________ -- Peace, that brief moment in history when everyone stops to reload. |

| They were demos, not professional releases. So, the sound quality was off. But, with some professional mastering, I think they could sound awesome. I'd buy it. Wait.....I already have! If the sound were improved drastically, I'd buy them again. _________________ "I have no desire to speak w/other tongues, I already do enough damage w/the one I have!!" - Candlemass |

| I like them. Didn't know they had been recorded to CD, low quality or not. Might have to look into them. Arttie _________________ Constitutional separation of church and state is a lie; it is a figment of the secular-progressive's imagination.

| I seen them at a Christan Night club in Washington PA called "Not of this World". I really enjoyed them. I think HoustonMetalhed777 was with me maybe not.And yes the guitarist was missing some fingers. Also recall the drummer playing with Plastic baseball bats and giant 4ft drum stixs. I still have a set of Dogtags from the show and I have both tapes. I still give them a listen. |
