Anybody planning on getting the new Flyleaf?

It's coming out this Tuesday. I preordered and got the deluxe edition with the 18 songs instead of 14. Should be cool.

Yep, for sure! Due to some connections I have the sound files but. I can not wait to hold the disc and read the lyrics and credits etc!

Yup - most likely. I love them - have since the first disc came out, and been waiting for this for a while. I saw them live a couple times at Cstone - good stuff.

I'm also curious if the naming of the album is any way related to the Kamelot song. . . but I doubt it.

Yes - girl vocalist. She did some screamy stuff on the last album - but I think they did away with most of that. Smile

I downloaded the deluxe version yesterday. Not as heavy as I was expecting from the last album; more melodic. I am still enjoying it. Actually I haven't listened to every song yet. That is what I am doing right now. I have pretty broad musical tastes, but I think I wouldn't even classify "Memento Mori" as really heavy; definitely rock, but down a few levels from the self titled.

Definitely more melodic, but I really like it. It's not heavy (though has heavy elements), but it's really good.
